Paying off my Student Loan
Over the course of your college career, the amount of your student loan debt can add up. And if you've obtained multiple loans from multiple lenders, you know how complicated it can be to pay back all those loans. We can help lighten the burden of multiple payments and save you up to 50% on your monthly payments by consolidating all your loans into one Federal Consolidation Loan. The requirements for loan consolidation include:

  • Must be a credit union member.
  • If all loans are funded through a single lender, you must first approach that lender for consolidation. If the lender is unable to offer Federal Consolidation Loans, or has declined to provide a consolidation loan with an income-sensitive repayment option, you may choose your credit union.
  • Exception: If all loans are William D. Ford Direct Lending loans, you may choose any lender to consolidate. If the borrower has two or more FFEL (non-Direct Lending) lenders, they can choose any lender for consolidation.
Download the consolidation application and addendum and use lender code 878099. If you financed your loan through Glacier Hills, you can check your loan status on the Great Lakes Web site.

My Career
Whatever your first job may be, and wherever it may lead you, learning to successfully manage your money is one of the most important lessons you should take with you. Plus, gain more immediate access to your money with direct deposit of your paycheck each pay period.

As you journey down the path to career success, ask yourself the right questions to help guide your journey.

  • What are your goals?
  • Have you set the wheels in motion to help achieve a stable financial position that will lead you into the future? If not, now's the time to make a list of your hopes and dreams and map out a strategy that will help you attain them.
  • How will you budget your paycheck?
