Sometimes you need a little extra money. With our Jumpstart loan, you can borrow up to $500 interest-free for 90 days to help pay for out-of-pocket college expenses, such as books, laptop, etc. That's right, we're borrowing the money to you, free!
The Fine Print (in not so fine print)
To qualify, you must show proof of enrollment in the current or upcoming semester at an accredited higher education school (bill, receipt, class schedule, etc), with a minimum one year program. You can qualify for up to one jumpstart loan per semester (you cannot take out a subsequent jumpstart loan until the previous one has been paid off). Here's how much you may be eligible for:
- Full time students (12 + credit, or equivalent): Up to $500

Part-time students 6 - 12 credits, or equivalent): Up to $250.
Jumpstart Example:
You need some extra cash for books, so you take out a $500 jumpstart loan. In the first 90 days, you are able to pay back half ($250) of the loan. The remaining balance will be divided into a ten month loan term at a competitive rate. For example, at 13.99% APR, you would pay around $26 a month. You can always pay ahead with absolutely no penalty.
